Mobclix now officially has an iPad SDK. We’re the first mobile platform to come out with an iPad specific SDK. We know developers are excited to start testing out how advertising will work on the iPad, and now they can.
The iPad is a tremendous opportunity for advertising, it’s larger screen size will allow for not just bigger ad sizes, but also richer ads, integrating video and rich media to engage the consumer. For developers, this means higher eCPMs and more options for ad sizes. Advertisers can expect higher engagement and more possibilities in terms of rich media and immersive ads.
So what ad sizes will we have?
- 468 x 60
- 300 x 250
- 120 x 600
- 728 x 90

How do we setup up advertising feeds for any other sizes besides 300×250 (the only option I’m seeing)?
@dejo the rest of the sizes will be available immediately after the iPad releases.
well it is good for developers.They have now better option along with apple sdk they can have mobclix sdk .
I’m thinking of switching over to Mobclix especially for your iPad support, but I’m wondering if there’s any way to create a universal binary for both platforms (iPhone & iPad)? My testing so far with the two SDK’s suggests that neither works correctly on the opposing platform. Is there any way to integrate the two?
We’re going to be launching a universal SDK soon that will work with universal iPad/iPhone apps. Look for it shortly after the iPad launch.
