1) What inspired you to build the app?

We wanted an efficient scanner for scanning stuff on the go. Have you ever submitted expense reports? That’s a pain to assemble all the receipts and scan or photography them to email them. Genius Scan makes that really easy. Also for all the documents that you have to sign and email back, this is very convenient when you don’t have a scanner. So there was definitely a need for us and… for many others!

2) Why does the ad revenue model make sense for you?

Genius Scan is a useful tool for people and people keep using useful tools for a long time.

3) Why did you choose Mobclix?

We tried different options but Mobclix definitely generates a better revenue. They also maintain a good contact with the app developers to ensure everything goes well.

4) What tips do you have for other developers?

If your app is useful, bug free and easy to use, you dramatically increase user adoption: When we designed Genius Scan we made sure that you had in your pocket all the basic features you wanted in a scanner and they had to work very well. In other words, develop your application to make your customer happy.
